1 Peter 4:7-11
There is so much pressure on us to be happy here on this earth. The expectations are very high. Often, the more pressure we accept the more miserable we will become. And, when trials come they produce the opposite of happiness, and we are troubled and confused, “I work hard, this is not supposed to happen this way” This happens when our identity, our happiness, and our self worth is based upon what happens here on this earth. The solution? Make Christ the reason for your being.
